自己紹介

幼少時 よりピアノを始める。岩瀬章光氏に師事してジャズピアノを習得。 同時に演劇活動も行う。91年劇団その1入団以来、役者・作演出・音響と多方面で活動。2002年に藤堂尚樹氏とのバンド「アカスズメ」結成。以来、舞踏家や演劇周辺の人々や現代美術家等との活動を経る。現在演劇に関しては「やみいち行動」メンバーであり、音楽に関しては京都ブルーノートなどでのジャズ演奏の活動のほか、尺八・チェロ・タブラとのユニット『夕顔』のメンバーとして活躍中。

ちなみにＮＨＫ朝ドラには出ていない。



Ikeda Ippei began his study of piano in early childhood. As well as an highly praised performer of jazz and experimental music, he is also active as an actor, writer, and director of theater. In 1991 he joined the theater group Gekidan-Sonoichi. He has collaborated on numerous occasions as a musician with traditional Japanese dancers, actors, and installation artists, and in 2001 formed a band with Naoki Todo. Currently he acts with the theater group Yamiichi Kodo and performs widely as a jazz musician in Kyoto.
